Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility
    1. This free prize draw is open to UK residents only aged 16 or over.
    2. Except for employees, officers and directors of any sponsor (if applicable), its parent, subsidiaries and agents, the immediate family (defined as spouse, children, siblings, parents, or grandparents) of these persons, and their co- habitants are not eligible. Basically anyone in the creation and administration of this promotion is prohibited to win related prize.
    3. No liability will be assumed if participants are found to be ineligible, it being a matter for the sole discretion of ShopperUk.com Limited to determine whether grounds exist justifying such disqualification.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter. Though you do have to be subscribe to the newsletter to qualify.
  3. The closing date for the main £1000 Prize is the 1st December 2008. So that ideally you will have the cheque before Christmas. However we will be randomly offering other good prizes thoughout the course of the year for which we shall keep you notified via the newsletter.
  4. Only one entry per person is permitted. Register with your real first and last name, your e-mail address, date of birth, gender & country. It is your responsibility to update these details if they change. An individual may register only once. Any multiple registration by whatever means (e.g. multiple registrations at different postal, e-mail or combined addresses) invalidates all registrations for that individual and disqualifies that individual from the competition and from any prize.
  5. By subscribing to the newsletter we will send approximately 50 newsletters a year keeping you in touch with competitions, promotional or special offers from various retailers. You can opt out the newsletter freely at anytime by going to the unsubscribe URL. Participants recognise that they are participating in the draw for fun only, and that they are not required to make any payment or other contribution to enter or so participate.
  6. By subscribing to our newsletter & information services we operate a strict double opt in policy.
  7. The draw will be conducted by an independent person within 7 days of the closing dates.
  8. The main prizewinner will be the first name picked at random from all correct and valid entries.
  9. Notification: The winner will be notified by email within 14 days after closing date, and is required to accept their prize by email or letter within 30 days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, the promoter or ShopperUK.com reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next randomly drawn correct and valid entry or newsletter subscriber.
  10. Taxes if applicable are the responsibility of winners.
  11. As a condition of claiming any prize, winners might also be required to provide satisfactory proof of identity, age and residency. This may include evidence such as a passport, a photo driver's licence, and utility bills and it will be matter for the sole discretion of ShopperUK.com Limited to determine whether such satisfactory proof has been provided. The identification and contact details provided must match those currently held on our database. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure that these details are kept updated and ShopperUK.com Limited accept no responsibility for any failure on the part of any participant in this or any other respect.
  12. ShopperUK.com Limited decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Prizes non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize.

  16. We are permitted to publish your name & town (not full address) on our website(s) if you are one of our lucky winners. Submitting a photograph is optional, though we will gladly display this if you would like. Winners further grant to ShopperUk.com Ltd. the irrevocable right but not the obligation to use and publish their proper name and the town and/or county/or town (not full postal address) of their postal address online and in print, or any other media. Acceptance of any prize constitutes irrevocable permission for ShopperUK.com Limited. and their advertising and promotional agencies to use winner's name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
